AIVALOTIS, Karen Ruth 50 of Englewood, passed away peacefully with her family at her side. Karen is survived by her son, Todd Aivalotis, her daughter, Kimber Aivalotis - Baker and her life partner Andy Metzker all of Englewood; one granddaughter Kylie, one grandson Akira; her parents David and Barbara (nee Brennan) Aivalotis of Englewood; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Linda Aivalotis and her life partner Guy Whitaker of Hamilton, Joyce Aivalotis of Washington, D.C., Erika and Al Weiffenbach of Hilliard, OH; one brother and sister-in-law Wayne and Doris Aivalotis of Clayton; her special pet dogs Speedy, Fraidy, Puppy and special cat Esther. Karen was a member of Northmont High School Class of 1980, received her Veterinarian Tech. Degree from the Montgomery County J.V.S in 1985, worked at Town and Country Animal Clinic and was a volunteer at the Montgomery County Animal Shelter. Services of Remembrance will be 1:00 pm, Friday, November 23, 2012 at the ROYAL OAK MEMORIAL GARDENS MAUSOLEUM with Reverend Vincent Patton presiding. Karen's family request that donations be made to the Montgomery County Animal Shelter, 6790 Webster Street, Dayton, Ohio 45414.
