LAST RITES HELD FOR LATE POSTMASTER
Last Rites for the late Charles Plummer, Brooks Postmaster, were held from St Albans Anglican Church on Friday, May 31 at 2:30 o'clock, Rev J.H. Naylor conducted the church services and a large number of officers and members of the Brooks Lodge AF & AM conducted the Masonic graveside ceremony. Members of the Canadian Legion, Brooks Branch, joined in the "Last Post" ceremony.

Pallbearers were C.M. Chalmers; R Chatfield; D.M. Macfarlane; W.T. Pettifor; Geo Burke and C.B. Nesbitt representing the Lodge ad the Legion of which the late Mr Plummer was a member. Burial took place in the Brooks Cemetery.

Nott's Funeral Home of Medicine Hat had charge of the arrangements.
