Frances Jones was born on the thirteenth of September, 1913 in Springcreek, Ohio; a small town outside of Piqua. The first child of Guy B. Jones and Emma Marie Elicker. She married Russel Leroy Landon on the thirty-first of May, 1934 in Piqua, Ohio. She was mother to the following, Jacqueline Marie Landon, Leah Kay Landon, Gail Frances Landon and Marion Landon. In around 1944; Russel and Frances separated, although its unclear where she went after this her daughters were separated among family members. Jacqueline was sent to live with Russel's mother in Piqua, Leah Kay went Elmira, New York to live with Russel's cousin, Gail was sent first to Frances's parents home in Springcreek and then to aunt and uncles before living with Leah Kay in New York, Marion went to New York later on as well. In the late 1970s, she married a man named James Kehoe, they were only married a few years before his death. She lived near her daughter Marion in Binghamton, New York; working in various department stores. Frances died of a stroke on the third of July, 1987 with her children and grandchildren at her side.
