The funeral of Mrs. Bessie Bains, 44, of 1272 Dusches avenue, who died at her residence on December 5, was held at Disciples Church at Oakwood on December 12 with the Rev. Richard Thomas officiating. A lifelong citizen of Norfolk, she is survived by her husband, Raleigh Bains; three sisters, one brother, and other relatives. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
