Estil L. Banks, age 85, of Franklin Township, passed away, Friday, August 4, 2017, at Carlisle Manor Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Campton, KY, on January 16, 1932, to the late Sara H. (Brashers) and Orville Banks. He retired from the Dupps Company in 1985 after 35 years of service as a Field Engineer. Estil loved his family and family gatherings. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Jesse Banks. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Barbara J. (Agee) Banks; his 4 daughters, Cherie (James) Kidd, Vicki Banks, Melody Bryant and Patricia Banks; his 4 sons, Charles, David, Michael (Denise) and Christopher (Magaly) Banks; 13 grandchildren & 15 great-grandchildren; his brother, Raymond Edward Banks; numerous nieces and nephews.
