Pearl Evelyn (Rambo) Tisher
Pearl E. Tisher, 92, of East Wenatchee WA, passed awat of Saturday April 21, 2012 at her home with her family present. She was born September 10, 1919 in Bear Creek, WA to Gus and Katherine (Parks) Rambo.
Pearl lived in Bear Creek until 1940 when her family moved to Aberdeen, WA. She completed high school in Aberdeen and then in 1944 she married Howard R. Tisher in Silverdale, WA. They continued to live in Aberdeen until 1958 when they moved to Skamania County where Howard worked for Fish and Wildlife Service. Pearl and Howard moved in 1966 to Bozeman, MT where he retired in 1983. After selling their home in 1984 they moved to East Wenatchee to live near friends and relatives.
Pearl was a faithful wife, mother and homemaker. She was a very caring person; she always had a big smile for all and we all loved and cherished her. Pearl loved cooking, reading, gardening and spending time with her children, family and friends. She loved corresponding with many friends and relatives through the years. Her favorite hobby was writing and collecting poems. Pearl rarely forgot a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion and always sent out many many greeting cards. She was a very devout Christian and loved the Lord.
Pearl is survived by her son, Terry L. Tisher of East Wenatchee, daughters, Marjorie A. Tisher LaPier of East Wenatchee, Kathleen R. Tisher McPhail of Lincoln, MT and a former daughter-in-law, Nancy Tisher of Albequerque NM, 2 Sisters; Irene (Jack) Rambo Smith of Spokane and Frances Rambo Pierce of Hillsboro, OR; 4 Grandchildren, Kevin McPhail, Carrie Teresi, Kyle Tisher and Alec Smidt, and 3 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Howard R. Tisher, in 2009, her parents, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday April 28, 2012 at Jones & Jones ~ Betts Memorial Chapel with reception to follow at the funeral home.
