"Mrs. Emily Hasbrouck Barnard Passes Away: Widow of Judge Barnard Dies at King's Court Thursday afternoon. Death was caused by infirmities of age. Mrs. Barnard being in her 85th year. Mrs. Barnard was a daughter of the late Abraham Bruyn Hasbrouck, one time member of Congress from the Kingston district, and subsequently of Rutgers College. She received her early education in Kingston and later went to New York where she completed her schooling. Mrs. Barnard had lived in Poughkeepsie for the past 59 years. Surviving her are her daughter, Mrs. James L. Banks of New York, and one son, Frederick Barnard of this city.

FUNERAL: Mrs. Emily H. Barnard: Funeral services for Mrs. Emily H. Barnard, widow of the late Judge Joseph F. Barnard, were held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock, with the Rev. W.L. Cardman officiating . The casket was carfled by porters. There were a number of beautiful floral tributes. Interment was made in the family plot in the Poughkeepsie Cemetery, with H.F.
