Doyle Brock was born Feb. 20, 1931 in Beaumont, TX to E.D. and Agnes Brock. He graduated from Classen High School in 1949. He worked for TG&Y until 1985 when he began working for Hobby Lobby.
Doyle was a member of Council Road Baptist Church where he was a deacon. Doyle became blind in 2009 but continued working with the Gideon Ministry which he loved.
Doyle is survived by his wife, Marilyn, of 64 years and eight months; his children, Bob and wife Cheryl, Jeannie Castor and husband Dan, Peggy Morgan and husband Larry, and Molly Bailey and husband Don; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, one being Brody with his little guiding hands.
He was predecessed by an infant son, William Preston Brock.
Services will be Thursday, August 10, 2:00pm at Council Road Baptist Church with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in his name to Gideon’s International.
