The son of Alexander and Annie Jane ADAMSON (born PATTERSON).
Seven-year-old Fleetwood Adamson was playing in a paddock at his Commercial Road home in Kingsland on November 30 when he got too close to grazing stock.
A horse kicked the boy with its back feet and left him writhing in pain.
Rescuers carried Fleetwood home where he was quickly attended by Dr George Girdler, whose practice was based at Khyber Pass.
The prognosis was bad from the onset but the child languished for another three weeks before his death on December 21.
Certification of his death resulted from "Inflamation of the bowels, caused by a kick from a horse".
Died at his parents residence, Commercial Road, Kingsland.
