WORLD WAR VET DIES
John Samuel Bauer, 39, Passes In Hospital at Wichita Friday
John Samuel Bauer, 39, 848 South Holyoke, a World war veteran, died Friday in a local hospital. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., and had resided at Wichita 12 years. Surviving are five brothers, P. A., Los Angeles, C. L., Wichita, Joe, Dodge City, James, Wichita, and E.G., Parsons, and three sisters, Martina Pinaire, Los Angeles, Lucy Pinaire, Wichita, and Sister Perpetua, Wichita.
There will be a recitation of the rosary at 8 p. m. today at the Gordon funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 9 a. m. Monday at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic church with burial in Calvary cemetery.
