Beloved son of Alma and Elias Baldwin, husband of Jan, father of Cheryl Baldwin of Oklahoma City, and Paddee (and William) Muncy of Geronimo, Oklahoma, was reunited with his heavenly Father on June 29, 2014. Leonard served his nation in the US Army over 25 years as Military Police. He also served his home state as a Police Officer for the Oklahoma City Police Department for an addition 25 years of law enforcement. He is a Vietnam Veteran and hero to his daughters who honor him with their service in the Army, Paddee and law enforcement, Cheryl. He was a member of Myrtle Masonic Lodge for many years and perpetual member of Del City Order of the Eastern Star where he was a Past Patron. He was also involved with the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls and loved by many. Leonard was survived by one brother, Gene (and Sandy) of Anaheim, CA., the last of 12 siblings. He was survived by his granddaughters, Megan of Pennsylvania, Amanda and Sarah Muncy of Geronimo, Oklahoma; his great-grandson, Lucas of Pennsylvania (the light of his life.) Leonard was the adopted father of Bill, and adopted grandfather to Christinea, Daniela, Lindsey and Savannah. Leonard was also survived by many nieces and nephews across the U.S. Leonard was briefly married to Yvonne, and was step father to Vonda (and David) Epperly; and step grandfather to Tyler, Erin and Ellen. A funeral service was held Thursday, 2:00 p.m. July 3, 2014 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel.
