Allan was an avid fisherman and hunter. He had a green thumb, especially good at growing garlic.
Allan is survived by his wife, Sally, of 28 years; three children; three step-children; five grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; one sister-in-law; one niece and numerous nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; one sister; and one stepson.
