Carolyn Warner Harrison, of Ottawa Hills, died at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg on December 7, 2006, at the age of 78. She was born in Toledo to Milo J. Warner and Dorothy Bennett Warner on November 30, 1928. She was the widow of Charles A. Harrison, Jr., whom she married in 1955. Carolyn graduated from Northwestern University where she joined the Delta Gamma Sorority. She was a member of the sorority alumnae group and former memberships include the Junior League of Toledo and the Board of Trustees of the Sunset House. She worked for the faculty committees in the Faculty Senate office at the University of Toledo from 1973 to 1990. Music was a special interest, especially the piano and over the years she sang in the choirs of Epworth Methodist Church when it was in the Old West End and St. Michael's in the Hills Episcopal Church. Carolyn is survived by her loving family: son, Charles A. (Nancy) Harrison III; daughter, Anne Harrison (Steven Diffenderfer); brother-in-law, Walter (Lucky) Harrison; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, M.J. (Joe) Warner and wife, Helen and Donald Warner and wife, Marjorie.
