Eleanor "Ellie" M. Durkin, nee Thomas, age 66, devoted daughter of the late Francis and Genevieve Thomas; beloved wife of the late James J.; cherished mother of James J. III, Mary Beth, Meg, Michael (Jennifer), Martin (Sally), Joseph (Maureen) and the late John; adored grandmother of Lindsay, Heather, James, Kevin, Erin, Alison, Susan, James, Thomas, Mary Rita, Michael and Joseph; loving sister of Rosemary (James) Quitter and the late Bonita (James) Thomas. She is also survived by many family members and friends, especially Patrice Stephens. Funeral Monday 10:15 a.m. from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn, to St. Thomas More Church. Mass 11 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 2:30 until 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society-Prairie Land Region, Tinley Park, IL 60477.
