CREECH, Danny Lee 64, Waynesville, Ohio went to meet the Lord on Tuesday August 23, 2011. He was born in Lee County, Kentucky on April 9, 1947. Danny was a US Army Veteran and was retired from Dayton Power & Light. He was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Waynesville and has served in many positions over the years including: deacon, Sunday school teacher, SS superintendent, and men's prayer ministry leader. He is preceded in death by his mother Gladys Hayes, father Junis Creech, a brother Timothy Creech, a sister Connie Grace Watkins, and a sister Robin Destefano. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Lucy Creech, his daughter Sonia G. (Will) Purkey, daughter Missy L. (Wes) Young, son Timothy D. Creech; 7 grandchildren: Charissa (Chase), Justin, Austen, Kayla, Mitchell, Brooklynn, and Noah; brothers and sisters: Bennie Creech of Highland Hills MI, Flo Alto of Michigan, Kenny Creech of Beattyville KY, Elaine Benjamin of Bethel OH, and Rick Creech of Traverse City Michigan, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers- in- law, and countless friends. Funeral services 10 AM Sat. Aug. 27 at the First Baptist Church, 1009 Lytle Rd., Waynesville. The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Fri. at the church.
