Per his d/c he died in the Lead Mines District of Wythe County. He was 43 years, 10 months old, a foreman, railroad construction work. He died from gun shot wound by homicide. Double barrel gun wound in left temple and forehead.
He was the son of John Akers, born in Va. and ____Gilman, birth place not known.
