Leslie was the daughter of Sophet Franklin and Louisa NEITER Farner.

On 27 Feb 1913 she was united in marriage to Elmer T. HEWITT, and to this union 4 sons were born.

Vernon, age 18, Elmer Floyd, 12, Billy, 6, Jimmie, 2, and their father were at her bedside when she died of pneumonia.

She was 36 years, 11 months and 7 days old.
