Chester Leo Ingersoll, 57, died Monday night at his home, 609 Sam Street. He was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He was educated there and moved to Corpus Chriti in 1940. He was a systems analyst at the Naval Air Station until his retirement in 1973.

He was the recipient of the Bishop Thomas J. Drury Medal and he had also received the St. George Medal for his work in Boy Scouting. He as an extra-ordinary minister for Holy Communion, a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1902, the American Legion Gragg-Sherrill Post 248, and a member of the National Retired Federal Employees Association.

Rosary will be recited at St. Pius X Catholic Church Wednesday by member of Knights of Columbus. Another Rosary will be recited Wednesday at the church. A con-celebrated Funeral Mass will be conducted Thursday. Burial will follow in Seaside Memorial Park.

He is survived by a daughter, a son, two sisters, Mrs. G. J. Neyrey, Jr. and Mrs. Alvin Fischer; one brother, Elory Ingersoll, and three grandsons. Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Service.
