Hazel A. Morey (nee Alward), 81, of Medina, formerly of Newton, Mass., passed away peacefully Wednesday, Jan. 7, 1998, at Sophia Huntington Parker Home after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Littleton, Mass., the daughter of Morton and Grace Alward. Mrs. Morey had been a Medina County resident for eight years. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara A. Talbert of Medina; son, Robert D. Morey of North Brookfield, Mass.; granddaughters and husbands, Diane (Ronald II) Knight of Medina and Cynthia (Kenneth) Rogers of Seville; grandsons, Christopher Talbert of Akron and Seren Bretnall of Brooklyn, N.Y.; granddaughter, Kristy Morey of Chatham, Mass.; and great-grandchildren, Kayleigh and Ronald Knight III and Steven and Melody Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 46 years, Robert J. Morey; dear grandson, David H. Talbert; two sisters; and three brothers.
Service: 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Church, 606 E. Washington St., Medina. The Rev. Mark Hollis will officiate.
Burial: Westlawn Cemetery, Littleton.
