On August 3, 2017, Pamella Long Ford passed away suddenly at her desk while at work at the young age of 61. Pam was born July 12, 1956, in Alexandria, Louisiana. Pam is survived by her husband, Dick Ford, and by her sons, Jamey Davis, James Davis, and Gerad Funderburk, and her brothers, Donald Long, Rusell Long, and Darold Weber. Pamella is also survived by her seat grandkids, Blayne, Colin, Noah, Kasen, Khloey, and Madilynn
Pamella's purpose in life was to serve God and be the best Christian example for her husband, kids, grandkids, family, and friends that she could be. She was the definition of a giver, not a taker. Everyone that knew Pam knew of her tremendous heart. She was constantly giving to and serving others until the very same day that God brought her home.
Pam was not only a very loving and giving person, she was extremely smart. She was the only paralegal at her firm that did not have a college degree. Her colleagues would constantly call her and email her day and night to get advice on cases that she wasn't even working on. They all knew that they could count on Pam. She won many awards and was inducted to multiple Societies and paralegal entities.
