Mrs. Alma C. Parnell 75, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Northfork, died Wednesday, Sept. 16th in a Houston nursing home. Death was attributed to natural causes. Her husband, C. E. Parnell, preceded her in death in 1947. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Cohron of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Patricia Adams of Honolulu, Hawaii, Mrs. Jean Lay of Huntington, Mrs. Sally Marshall of Houston; three sons, William C. Parnell of Northfork, Richard Parnell of Houston and C. E. (Ned) Parnell, Jr., of Pittsburgh, Penn., one brother Harry Cockill of Welch; and 18 grandchildren.
