Edith L. Luckow, age 81, a Manitowoc resident, entered eternal life on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Laurel Grove Assisted Living. She was born on September 17, 1935 in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Dorothea Hoeffner Klusmeyer. Edith was a graduated of Lincoln High School with the class of 1953. On July 7, 1956 she married Robert G. Luckow at First German Ev. Lutheran Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on May 13, 2006. Edith was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Newtonburg. She was known for her bubbly personality and could bring a smile to anybody's face on the worst day. Edith enjoyed embroidering dish towels, cutting coupons, time spent up north and just spending time with family and friends. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren meant the world to her and they all knew her as "crazy Grandma".

She is survived by three sons: Jay (Laura) Luckow, Dennis (Cathy) Luckow, David (Bonnie) Luckow; one daughter: Dawn (Steve) Johnsen; eleven grandchildren: Daniel (Destinie) Luckow, Matthew (Alyssa) Luckow, Bill Luckow, Angie Taylor, Derek Luckow, Melinda (Mike) Schreiber, Devin Luckow, Kryssa (Zack) Rathsack, Justin (Jenny) Swokowski, Stephani Swokowski, and Tahlia (Jason) Brake; seven great grandchildren: Kylie, Landon, Darion, Miley, Brooklynn, Andrew, and Ella; two sisters: Marion (Leroy) Nell, Johnson Creek; Loretta Kroening, Manitowoc; one sister-in-law: Lola Klusmeyer, Manitowoc; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law: Roger (Ann) Luckow, Newton; LaVerne Luckow, Manitowoc; Marion Morgan, Cato; Barbara Luckow, Manitowoc, nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Dorothea Klusmeyer; husband: Robert Luckow; twin grandsons: Adam and Brian Luckow; three brothers: Harold (Babe) Klusmeyer; Emmett (Loretta) Klusmeyer; Elroy Klusmeyer; two sisters: Dorothy (Elmer) Vogt; and her twin sister, Ethel (Kenny) Seefeldt.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, August 21, 2017 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, 7531 English Lake Road, Manitowoc, with Rev. Victor Headrick officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
