INGELS, ARTHUR D.
Arthur D. Ingels, 77, of 2037 Greenbriar Road died at 8:30 p.m. Thursday. He was born in Glenarm, the son of John and Adella Drennan Ingels, and married Lucile Snyder in 1940. Mr. Ingels was assistant cashier at First National Bank for 39 years before his retirement in 1969. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, secretary of the Washington Street Mission for many years, and former treasurer of the Visiting Nurses Association of Springfield. Surviving are his wife Lucile (Snyder); one sister, Mrs. Helen Byers of Chatham; several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel, with Dr. Roger Compton officiating. Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery.
