He proudly served in the U.S. Navy with a career that spanned deployments aboard the USS Boxer during the Korean War to the USS Enterprise during the Vietnam War. Duane began his naval career as a Maintenance Technician with Patrol Squadron 28 retired as Senior Master Chief for RVAH-6. Upon retiring from the Navy, Dan was the maintenance supervisor for the Lady Haven of Peace and owned Duane Annis Heating and Air Conditioning."
