Edward T. Wolf, 85, of Cape Coral, FL passed peacefully into death on March 3, 2007 at The Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center of Cape Coral. Ed was born in Chicago, IL on September 30, 1921 and worked for 40 years as a Tool & Die Maker for Western Electric in Cicero, IL from where he retired in 1981. Upon his retirement, Ed and his wife Margaret (Ryan) moved from their home in LaGrange Park, IL to Cape Coral where they have shared the past 26 years. Ed served during WWII in the United States Coast Guard and was a proud lifetime member of VFW Post #8463 in Cape Coral. He had a unique gift of truly impacting every life that he touched. His dry humor and quick wit made him a favorite of many. He was preceded in death by his son Dennis and leaves behind his loving wife Margaret (Ryan), his daughter Nancy Russo of Fort Myers, his stepchildren Robert O'Donnell, John O'Donnell, Barbara O'Donnell and Terese Obney, 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
