James "Jim" Rayburn Atkins, Jr., 43, died Sunday, March 4, 2007 in Wichita Falls.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2007 in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with Stan Horton officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

Jim was born Feb. 12, 1964 in Biloxi, Mississippi to James and Alice (Barber) Atkins. On Sept. 26, 1992, he married Brandy Chandler in North Richland Hills. He owned and operated All Dry Carpet Cleaning. Jim was also a body builder, and loved to play practical jokes. He enjoyed drag racing, motorcycles, NASCAR his favorite being #24, Jeff Gordan, and loved football.

Survivors include his wife, Brandy Atkins; his fantastic four, Chelsea, Conner, Chandler, and Camry; parents, James and Alice Atkins all of Iowa Park; brother, Bruce Atkins; two sisters, Vanessa Atkins, and Misty Iler all of Fayetteville, Arkansas; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roger E. and Rhonda Chandler of LaRue; four sister-in-laws, Kim Walker of Brownsboro, Renee Smith of Omaha, Echo Chandler, and Chanci Chandler both of LaRue.

Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home.
