MaryJane Bigelow, 90, passed away November 30, 2011.

Born in Nelsonville, Ohio, she had lived in the Akron/Cuyahoga Falls area most of her life and was employed with Akron City Hospital, Cuyahoga Falls General and Haller Nursing Agency as a LPN. MaryJane was a member of the Akron Chapter of Sweet Adelines, Daughters of America, 37th Division Women's Auxiliary, Cuyahoga Falls Community Chorus, and Northwest Ave. Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by her husband, Homer W. "Bud" Bigelow; parents, John and Thelma Syx; and brother, Ellis Syx; she is survived by her son, William A. (Waynetta) Bigelow; daughters, Claudia J. (Jeff) Davis, Melissa J. (Mark) Hooverman; grandchildren, Heather Davis, Holly (Erin) Sullivan, Anne Haire, Becky (Jeremy) Bigelow, Debbra (Travis) Robertson, Jenifer (Hans) Frnka, Marissa (Chris) Dove, Kelsie and Audrey Hooverman; great grandchildren, Conor William Robertson, Crystal and Jaden Haire and Isla Sullivan; great-great-grandchildren, Michael and Era; brother, Theodore (Barbara) Syx; and sister, Claudine (Lloyd) Bigelow.

Our deepest appreciation for the staff of Crossroads Hospice and Heather Knoll for their loving care of our mother.

Services will be held 12 Noon SATURDAY at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd Street, Cuyahoga Falls with Rev. Scott Baker officiating. Entombment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
