Mark Nickolas Abbott, 45, went to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ on Friday, August 18, 2017.

Mark was born in Fort Worth, Texas on December 9, 1971. Mark was an adventurous little boy that enjoyed baseball, riding bikes, and playing outside with friends. Mark spent his childhood living in the Blue Mound/Saginaw area and briefly lived in Marin County, California . At age 10, his family moved to Keller. Mark went on to attend L.D. Bell High School. Mark excelled in school, especially math.

After high school Mark spent some time living in Nevada and working as a chef. Mark missed his great State of Texas, and returned in 1993. Mark began a career in sales in the firearm and night vision industry. At times, he would work in the grease business along side his beloved uncle, Anthony.

Mark was baptized on March 12, 2000, at Grace Baptist Church. He married Marci Ellen Thorn on June 17, 2000 and he became a father to his son, Morgan Mabry. Together, as a family, they enjoyed boating, skiing, travel, and entertaining friends and family. He cherished his family and was adored by many nieces and nephews. His friendships were priceless and his life long best friend was Cheyanne Ayers.

Later in life, Mark enjoyed extended visits with his brothers in west Texas and with his mother on Lake Worth. Mark was a proud American and he enjoyed fishing, grilling steaks to perfection, sitting by a fire, watching the sunset listening to everything from Waylon and Willie to Van Halen while sipping on a Dr. Pepper or Corona.

Mark was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Joe Bob Hooper and M.A. Oliver; uncle, Anthony Wommack, aunt, Rita Wommack, and his beloved dog, "Rock".
