Herbert Reeder Rites Held Here Wednesday
Services for Herbert Reeder, 77, of Tipton, who died Monday in a nursing home here, were held Wednesday in the Dye funeral home. The Rec. A. C. Long officiated. Burial was in Tipton Masonic cemetery.
Pallbearers were Alvin Johnson, Carr Todd, William Naber, Wayne Henry, Jacob LaFrenz, and Harlan Reeder.
Mr. Reeder was a son of the late J. W. Reeder, a prominent Tipton farmer who was among those on the platform at Herbert Hoover's inauguration in Washington.
Born in Cedar county, Mr. Reeder is survived by two brothers, Dr. Will Reeder of Wheaton, Ill., and Dr. Grant Reeder of Fremont, Nebr., and a sister Mrs. Luill Zerkle, Calgary, Alta., Canada.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and daughter, Mary Ellen.
