Inurnment for Rev. Richard Wayne Menear, 76, of Branson West, will be held at Kansas Veteran's Cemetery, with honors, in Fort Riley, Kan. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
Richard died Aug. 23, 2017.
He was born Nov. 22, 1940, in Kingwood, W.V., son of Clarence Edward and Beulah Mae Wagner Menear. He graduated from Kingwood High School in 1959. He enlisted in the US Air Force on June 16, 1959. He earned his Doctorate of Philosophy in Christian Counseling as well as other certifications from numerous institutions.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers David, Raymond, and Mark; and sisters Jo Ann, Linda, and Delores.
Survivors include his wife Judith Arnold Menear; former wife Sally Marie Chavez; children Barbara Anne Larrabee and husband Rick, of Menomonie, Wisc., Cindy Anne Sabata and husband Ed of Brainard, Neb., Richard W Menear, Jr., of Topeka, Kan., and Deborah Anne Nauerth and husband Joel of Manhattan, Kan.; sister Esther Luzader and husband Richard, of Tunnelton, West Virginia; sister-in-law Marlene K Menear, of Tunnelton, West Virginia; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
