Son of Albert and Evelyn (Sawyer) Hall. Grew up and received his education in Nemaha County and Atchinson County in Kansas. Entered the U.S. Army on Dec. 11, 1942 and was discharged Oct. 13, 1945. He lived most of his life in southeastern Nebraska where he was a mechanic and farmer. Moved to Grand Island area in 1981. Member of the Apostolic Rock Ministry Church, DAV VFW, American Legion, Eagles and the Senior Citizens Industries, Inc.

Survived by five sisters, Mina Rakes of Union, Lorrena Herbst of San Bernadino, Laverna Ebeler of Denver, Reba Petersen of New Hope, Minn. and Nellie Kuhns of Rock Port, Mo; and a brother, Byron Hall of Stillwater, Minn. Preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
