F.T. (Fee) Humfleet, 82, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away quietly at Hospice of Dayton on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002 after a lengthy battle with heart disease.
Fee is survived by his wife, Zanna Cotha (Cathy). A son, Charles A. (Tony) Humfleet and wife Brenda, also survive him; as do his four daughters, Jauiwanna Grimes and her husband Edward,
Faye Faulkner and her husband John,
Janice Kesinger and her husband Thomas and
Patricia Humfleet.
Additional survivors include many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Smith Humfleet and Sarah Elizabeth Humfleet;
his brothers and sisters; and his son, Jerry Wayne Humfleet.
Fee was a long-time member of The Dayton Baptist Temple and the John Durst Masonic Lodge.
He retired from Price Brothers, Inc. after 31 years of service.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 6 p.m. at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home chapel with Mr. Humfleet¹s son-in-law, Rev. Thomas Kesinger officiating. The interment will be at the family cemetery in Grays at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
The Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
