NEWPORT NEWS - Mrs. Elva T. Abrams, 95, a native of Harborton, Va., and a Peninsula resident for 50 years, died Thursday, April 28, 1994.
Mrs. Abrams was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Newport News.
Survived by two daughters, Dorothy A. Hancock of Vero Beach, Fla., and Mary A. Lewis of Newport News, Va.; three sons, Cecil L. Abrams of New Church, Va., Gene F. Abrams and Bobby Abrams, both of Newport News, Va.; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and two great- great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Lewis. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Peninsula Memorial park by Dr. Eugene S. Soud. Memorials to the Animal Aid Society, P.O. Box 1865, Grafton, Va. 23692. Peninsula Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
