MAYOR'S SISTER DEAD

Mrs. Lilly M. Thompson, eldest sister of Mayor Mahool and the wife of Mr. Henry M. Thompson, secretary and treasurer of the Stewart Fruit company, died yesterday morning at her home, 2500 Maryland ave., from acute pneumonia, which developed a few days ago.

For several years Mrs. Thompson had been in failing health, and for the last six weeks she was confined to bed.

Mrs. Thompson was born in Baltimore county and was the daughter of the late Colonel and Mrs. James Mahool. She was born in Franklinville, where her father and grandfather conducted a cotton duck mill. Later the family moved to Howard County and from there to this city. She was educated at Miss McCullough's private school in Glencoe.....Twenty-two years ago she married Mr. Thompson, a native of Cherrystone, Va.

Besides her husband, she is survived by five children: Misses Edith and Lillian Thompson; Willis, at present a student at the Union Theological Seminary, Richmond, Va.; Henry M. Jr., and Allen Thompson.

She also leaves beside Mayor Mahool, the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. Sarah Grimes, Miss Fannie H. Mahool, Messrs. James, Henry H., and Thomas Mahool.
