Jonathan Richard Atwell, 36, passed away August 23, 2017. He was born September 6, 1980, in Jacksonville, Florida. Jonathan lived most of his life in Clay County and loved spending time with his family and friends. Jonathan loved cars (Honda), Apple computers, and never met a stranger. He worked in the real estate, mortgage, and banking industries. His love of people showed in his choice to begin a second career in nursing. He is survived by his loving wife of seventeen years, Kimberly Atwell; daughters Lily Marie and Ava Rose Atwell; parents Richard Atwell, Susie and aunt Laura Kent; sister Amanda Kent; grandparents Robert (Gurney) and Mary (Jean) Atwell; aunt Tina Purvis (Ken, Kenny), uncle Henry Sutton, and aunt Polly Foskey; uncle Mickey Atwell (Karen); aunt Katie Alexander (Bill); aunt Joy Allen (Fred); and cousins Amanda Tisdale (Brian, Theron, Harper), Stephanie Atwell (Haleigh), Joshua Barnett, Lauren Truscello (Marcus), and Brittany Atwell. A visitation will be held Monday, August 28, 2017, from 6:00-8:00 PM, and the funeral service will be Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at 11:00 AM, with a graveside service to follow. All services will be at HARDAGE-GIDDENS HOLLY HILL FUNERAL HOME, 3601 Old Jennings Rd., Middleburg, Florida 32068.
