Ralph L. Whitaker age 82 of Fairfield passed away Friday August 25, 2017. He was born September 6, 1934 in Pulaski County, Kentucky the son of the late Claude and Flora (nee Parkey) Whitaker. On May 22, 1956 he married Margaret Nolan. Mr. Whitaker worked for many years at Ford Motor Company and was a member of the Winton Road First Church of God. He is survived by his wife Margaret Whitaker; three children Dennis (Connie) Whitaker, Douglas Whitaker, and Thomas (Okim) Whitaker; ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and his siblings Carl (Ann) Whitaker, Joyce (Wayne) Phelps, Garnett (Artman) Privett, and Bernice Barrett. Visitation 5-8 PM Tuesday August 29, 2017 at the Winton Road First Church of God, 6200 Winton Road, Fairfield. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday August 30, 2017 at the church with Pastor Brian Buriff, officiating. Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
