He was a retired Iron Worker from Local 301, Charleston, and an U.S. Army veteran.
He served the Lord for over 50 years, touching the lives of many, being a member of Grace Baptist Temple, St. Albans.
Pearl is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Rachel J. Allen; son, Randy L. Allen; daughter, Linda K. Spurlock, and son-in-law, Gary Spurlock, of Hurricane; sisters, Carol Horton of North Carolina, Shirley Morris of Tennessee, Joyce Arger, Naomi Tilden, Mona Allen; brother, Jimmy Allen of Florida; grandsons, Cameron Allen of Hurricane, Alexander Allen, U.S. Navy, of Washington State and Ryan Miller (Brittany Cannon) of Sandyville.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, at Allen Funeral Home, Hurricane, W.Va., with Rev. Brian Dean officiating.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, with funeral service following visitation. Burial will be at Mount Olive Cemetery, Hurricane.
