He was born March 20, 1946, in Wood County, WV, a son of the late Jewett H. and Mary F. Foley Kirsch.
Lewis was a WV National Guard Veteran and worked for Jimmie Harper Construction. He loved reading and telling stories to his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Hall of Little Hocking, Ohio; three grandchildren, Ashley Johnson of Vienna, WV, Phillip Cunningham of New Martinsville, WV and Kaitlyn Bell of Waverly, WV; and four great-grandchildren, Oakley Buchanan, Alex Johnson, Jon Johnson and Lilian Lester.
In addition to his parents Lewis was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Flinn Kirsch.
Memorial services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St, south Parkersburg is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
