Sarah Frances Wade Hall passed away August 27, 2017. Frances was born July 16, 1933 at her maternal grandmother's home in Atlanta, Georgia making her a rare native Atlantan. Her early years were spent in Hapeville, Georgia where she attended and graduated from North Avenue Elementary School and Hapeville High School as valedictorian of her 1951 class. After graduation, she married Tommy Perry Hall and the couple resided in Hapeville. Frances began work at Delta Airlines as a legal secretary where she worked until the birth of her first son when she became a "stay at home" mother supporting the activities of her husband and sons. Frances later returned to work for Delta Airlines after her divorce and stayed there until her retirement in 1992. Since 2001, she made her home in Marietta, Georgia to be close to her grandsons.

Frances was predeceased by her parents Lee Roy Wade and Sarah Kate Almond Wade and her infant brother Lee Roy Wade, Jr. who died at birth. She is survived by her sister Annette Marie Wade, sons Michael and Mark, and grandsons Chad and Tate.

Graveside services were held at East View Cemetery at East Lake. Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta was in charge of arrangements.
