Survivors include: mother-in-law, Helen Frashuer of Jane Lew; sister-in-law, Charlotte Barnette and husband Jack; one niece Rita Barnette, 3 nephews, Jeff, Bobby, and Matthew Barnette. He was a 1964 graduate of Weston High School, a 1968 graduate of Salem College and received his master's degree in 1971 from WVU. He was a Sunday school teacher and choir member at Broad Run Baptist Church. While spending the last two winters in Florida, Bill attended the Stetson Baptist Church. He was a former sports editor for the Weston Democrat. He was an avid sports enthusiast. After 33 years, he retired from the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation for the State of West Virginia. Bill will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 p.m. March 11, at the Boyle Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Kenneth Fisher and Reverend Bill Coffindaffer officiating. Internment will follow in the Broad Run Church Cemetery, Jane Lew, Wv.
