Allan A. "Buzz" Hollinger, 61, of Fostoria passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007 at Fostoria Community Hospital. He was born in Fremont to Albert and Evelyn (Warner) Hollinger on April 29, 1945 Buzz married his wife Judy Lee (Braman) in June 1983. After graduating from Lakota High School, he worked as a laborer for 33 years at Atlas Crankshaft in Fostoria, retiring in 1997. He also farmed in the Amsden area for over twenty years.

Surviving Buzz is his wife, Judy; his children; Chad A. Hollinger (Geri), San Diego, Calif, Amy J. (John) Fenstermaker, Delaware, Ryan J. Hollinger (Malaika), Loganville, Ga. and Jason M. Hollinger (Shelly), North Baltimore; step-children, Roxann Crawford, Rhonda L. Crawford (Johnny Greer), Rebecca S. Comer (Kevin), Robert D. Crawford II (Amy), all of Fostoria and Sunny Rae Davis, Findlay. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and newphews. Also surviving Buzz is his mother Evelyn Hollinger, Fostoria and two sisters, Alberta (Larry) Babione of Fostoria and Bobbie (Randy) Edinger, Helena. Buzz is also survived by his step-mother, Lois A. Hollinger of Fremont.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Alana Sue Hollinger; his father, Albert C. Hollinger; and a foster brother, Jim Pasch.

Buzz was proud of and worked hard to maintain his yard and pond. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, relaxing with friends and family around the pond and driving his John Deere tractor. He was a memeber of the American Legion, Amvets Post 69 and the Honor Guard, proudly serving at countless local funerals for many years. Buzz was a blood donor through the American Red Cross and donated close to 15 gallons of blood during his lifetime. He was also an organ donor through Life Connections. He was also a firm believer in the Christian faith.

Buzz was a generous and caring man who will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Visitation was 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, at Mann-Hare Funeral Home in Fostoria. Funeral services were held at 6 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home. Burial was private.
