Lucy enjoyed many activities including; trips to the casino, playing cribbage and other card games, reading, cooking, and needle point as well as crocheting. She was also an avid sports fan who loved watching the Packers and tennis. Lucy always loved all "dear little things" and enjoyed all the birds and animals in her backyard at home and continued to do so at Brillion West Haven. Above all, Lucy cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her great-grandchildren.
Lucy is survived by her son Barry and her daughter-in-law, Donna Emmer, Reedsville WI; her grandchildren, Amy Jo Emmer and Matthew Emmer, both of Green Bay; and Kimberly (Leon) Guthrie, of Fort Worth, Texas and their mother, JoAnn Brey, of Green Bay. She is further survived by her great grandchildren: Isabella, Samuel, Maxwell, Lauren, Ethan, and Gabrielle; and her dear friends Jeanette and Diane. Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her siblings: Carla and Sonny, and her aunt Hildegard.
The Funeral Liturgy for Lucille will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 1, 2017 at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, 222 E. Fremont St. Appleton, with Father John Thorsen officiating. A time of visitation will be held at church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of Mass.
