Sandra's mother was not Myrtle McAlister Hunt. Myrtle was her stepmother. Sandra's mother is still living. I believe the mixup came from the obituaries for Giles and Myrtle - both listed all their biological and stepchildren as their children.
The only documentation I have is a comment made on Sandra's Facebook page by her mother, Lovetta Bolin Marquis. I can send a screen capture if you would like.
