William Andrew Tisler age 86, of Crivitz passed away on August 22, 2017. He was born to the late William and Annabel Tisler on June 24, 1931. He graduated class of 1949 from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc WI. Shortly after high school he served in the Air Force during the Korean War. After war he received his bachelor’s degree from UW Oshkosh in 1958 and married the love of his life Nancy who he met while attending College. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, RC air planes and slot car racing. He loved the outdoors as well as his Dogs Ginger and Charlie.
He is survived by his Wife of 59 years, Nancy Tisler, 2 children Tony and Jackie Tisler. 2 brothers Bob (Karen) and Jim (Linda) Tisler.
He was preceded in death by his sister Ginnie Rasmussen.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home in Crivitz on Monday, August 28 from 9 – 11 AM. The funeral service will be at 11 AM with Father Lawrence Smith officiating. William will be laid to rest at the St. Casimir Cemetery in Newton WI.
