Janey L. Nenahlo, 60, of St. Nazianz, died Wednesday morning, Feb. 16, 2011 at her residence.

Janey was born June 17, 1950 in Chilton, daughter of Mary Jane Hephner and the late Jeffery Thomas Tyson. She married James E. Nenahlo on Nov. 15, 1969 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chilton. He preceded her in death on Sept. 25, 2010. In 1982, Janey and her husband opened Jim and Janey's Mini Mart in St. Nazianz which they owned and operated for 25 years. They had also previously managed the Last Stop Bar in Valders. She enjoyed traveling and truly loved the outdoors. She was an avid camper and enjoyed many camping trips with family and friends.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Jody and Eric Riesterer and their children, Paige and Kirsten, all of Valders; one son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Connie Nenahlo and their children, Brianna, Brooke and Brayden, all of Chilton; her mother, Mary Jane Bowe, Hilbert; five sisters and two brothers-in-law, Betty and Cal Dahl, Sheboygan; Mary Ann and Eldred Buechel, New Holstein; Honey Lou Barnett, Chilton; Bonnie Mahloch, Newton; Lila Mahloch, St. Nazianz; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Ray and Pauline Tyson, St. Nazianz; William and Joyce Tyson, Chilton; Willard and Missy Tyson, St. Nazianz; Corey Bowe, Hilbert; one brother-in-law, Anthony Nenahlo, Valders; special niece, Lynn Bartz, Sheboygan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Nenahlo; one daughter, Kathryn Nenahlo; father, Jeffery Tyson; step father, Willard Bowe; two brothers, James "Dubby" Bowe and Kenneth Raymond Bowe.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011, at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. Officiating at the Mass will be Rev. Michael Bigley, S.D.S. with burial to follow at the church cemetery.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, Feb. 22 at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz from 5-8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday at the church from 10 until 10:45 a.m.

The Christianson & Deja Funeral Home, Valders, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
