MICHAEL HEISER JR. (d. 1995) Michael (Mike) Heiser, Jr., 80, W. Zander Rd., Cooperstown, died unexpectedly Monday evening, April 17, 1995 at his home. The son of the late Michael and Catherine (Flammang) Heiser was born on March 10, 1915 in the Town of Gibson and was a life-long area resident. Mike was a 1933 graduate of Denmark High School and he farmed all of his life. Mr. Heiser and the former Alice (Van Pay) Gerstner were married on June 14, 1975 at St. James Catholic Church, Cooperstown. The couple were members of St. James Catholic Church, Cooperstown, where Mike sang in the choir. He was a member of the Maribel Sportsmen's Club, the Larrabee Sportsmen's Club and the Manitowoc County Fish & Game Association. Mike was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4735 and was an avid bowler. Survivors include his wife, Alice; a brother, Eugene Heiser, Green Bay; a sister, Mrs. John (Margaret) Schultz, Two Rivers; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert and Beatrice Van Pay, Green Bay; Myrtle Van Goethem, Sugarbush; Clarence and Rose Van Pay, Green Bay;p Bernard and Audrey Van Pay, Green Bay; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and sister-in-law, Clem and Marion Heiser, as well as an infant brother. Friends may call at Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home, 536 Cty. Hwy R, Denmark from 4 to 9 p.m. today. Parish Prayer Service 6:30 this evening and Knights of Columbus Memorial Service 7 p.m; On Thursday, friends may also call after 9:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, Cooperstown until service; Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 Thursday morning at the church with Fr.
