Betty Lou Mefford, 62, of Chloride, Ariz., died Tuesday, April 25, 2006, in Kingman, Ariz. She was born March 15, 1944, in Fayetteville to Sam and Mary Claypool Argo. Survivors include her children, Cheryl Thomas of Lowell, Mary Elizabeth Holloway of Nashville, Tenn., Kelly Holloway of Kansas, Okla., Brian Howard of Midland, Texas, and Kimberly Mefford of Chloride, Ariz.; her mother, Mary Smith of Springdale; two sisters, Sandy Williams and Linda McGarrah, both of Springdale; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Forest park Cemetery in Springdale under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home.
