Brenda Kaye Cooper, 67, of Fort Gibson, OK, was born November 25, 1949 at Porum, OK, the daughter of Plunkett and Dicie (Jackson) Lynn and died Saturday, September 2, 2017 in Fort Gibson. Brenda had a strong and grounded faith having seen Jesus in the clouds when she was nine years of age. Family was important to her and she loved being a Mama and a Grandma. Favorite pastimes were garage sales and shopping; holidays were her favorite times of the year, especially Christmas. Patriotic was another word that described Brenda and she was proud of the fact that John had served his country in the military. She attended Jesus Name Pentecostal Church in Fort Gibson. She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Linda Faye Broyles; nieces, Tonya Johnson and Patsy Campbell. Service will be held Friday, Sept. 8, 2017 at Millsap Funeral Home in Ft. Gibson, OK. Interment will be at Citizens Cemetery in Ft. Gibson.
