[The Connecticut Journal periodical posted an obituary for this man on July 8,1779. The obituary stated that he represented Branford to the Assembly of State for a number of years. Town meeting records show he was a Selectman for Branford during the Revolutionary War. He was also involved with the Church in Branford. He suffered a long illness according to his obituary.
