Bobby Lewis King, 63, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on August 30, 2017 at his home.
He was born in Cleveland County NC, and was the son of Ellis King and Maude Jolly King. He was also preceded in death by sister Barbara King Wright and brothers David King, Jimmy King and Tommy King and nephew Eric Wood.
Bobby was a retired Captain from the Kings Mountain Fire Department (1983 - 2015) and Volunteer Firefighter from 1975 -1983. He was awarded the "Order of the Long Leaf Pine" by Governor Pat McCory on July 22, 2015. He was also a former Reserve Deputy with the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office.
